“Zero Waste Awareness Day”
Sunday is our last day and it will be a very interactive and fun day with lots of activities.
At 3:00 PM listen to an inspiring lecture of mother & son who Zoë Melo (TOUCH founder) had the honor to meet while they were picking up trash at Venice Beach. Célini Petauton is a teacher/ librarian at a private high school in Los Angeles and her son Louis Petauton is a student of waste management at Ecole Hôteliere de Lausanne, they will tell their inspiring story about what is like to spend their summer cleaning up the beaches and talking to others about the importance of not throwing trash at our oceans.
5:00 – 7:00 PM, sign up for a workshop with Marcus Rosenthal, founder of Precious Plastic LA/SoCal branch of the revolutionary open source project for a workshop. that is changing the way we view plastic waste and creating new potential for plastic artisanship. They will demonstrate the entire process of making new products using the recycled plastics picked up by Célini and Louis from our beaches. https://preciousplastic.com

And while all this is happening, Sustain Ability card reader James Wanless, a renown author, eco-psychologist and Life Navigator will be at the gallery for a one to one coaching session.
