Thu, November 29, 2018 | 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM PST
TreePeople, 12601 Mulholland Drive, Beverly Hills, CA 90210
One year after the most disastrous fire season in California history, how can we better design, plan and build for extreme heat waves, wildfires, droughts and other natural disasters exacerbated by climate change? The evening will include a presentation by the City of Los Angeles’s Chief Resilience Officer on the recently released Resilient Los Angeles Plan and Los Angeles County’s Chief Sustainability Officer on the in-progress countywide Sustainability Plan. The panel will be followed by an open discussion on how we can work together to raise awareness and implement local actions at the individual, neighborhood and government level.
