LEED for Cities and Communities (LfC) rating system was launched in December 2016. More than 200 city and community projects are registered and 112 have been certified, improving sustainability and quality of life of more than 65 million people across 18 countries!
USGBC has established LEED for Communities rating system to help leaders plan, design, develop, operate, manage, measure and improve our communities, to offer higher sustainability and quality of life to all and bring a new level of leadership to communities around the world. Now, from buildings to communities and to cities, LEED spaces transform lives and raising the standard of living for all using the built environment!
