| With California’s push toward a decarbonized future, including the passage of AB 3232 – studying a pathway to net zero carbon buildings by 2030 – and the California Energy Commission’s forthcoming 2022 Building Energy Efficiency Standards update, – aimed at multifamily, commercial, and industrial buildings – California must now develop a plan for all new buildings to net zero carbon by 2030.
