Social Enterprise Grants Program:

Calling all Nonprofit Social Enterprises Seeking Growth Capital

The Social Enterprise GRANTS PROGRAM will give Nonprofit Social Enterprises an opportunity to vie for a total of $60,000 in grants which will be awarded by students in a highly exclusive, USC course hosted by the Brittingham Social Enterprise Lab. This hands-on course will introduce Nonprofit Social Enterprise organizations to a community of USC Marshall School of Business students committed to evaluating and investing in mission-related social enterprises.

Applications will be reviewed and accepted on a rolling basis and space is limited. (All participants will be selected by July 31st.)

Contestants must:

  • Be nonprofit 501c3 organizations;
  • Receive a percentage of revenue from an earned income venture that has been selling a product or service for at least three months;
  • Be willing to accommodate a student site visit in September, and, if selected for possible funding, work with students on a proposal and attend an awards ceremony in late November;
  • Be within an hour’s drive of the USC campus.
