LA ZeroWaste by 2050:

Driving the Circular Organics Economy

The Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator (LACI) and Bioproducts Innovation Center present an afternoon of engaging dialogue and data detailing innovative solutions centered around building the circular organics economy in LA.

Join us to accelerate integrated production and emerging marketplaces for bioproducts in the LA basin. These organic waste markets serve home and community gardeners, as well as urban farmers; community food scrap initiatives; and residential, commercial and industrial organic waste haulers and processors. Bioproducts include soil amendments like organic compost, compost tea, and biochar, as well as consumer and industrial bio-plastics, and renewable natural gas (bio-energy). The heart of the Circular Organics Economy is healthy soils, healthy water and healthy communities.
