On May 4, Pershing Square will host LA’s first Feeding the 5000 festival, a delicious free feast for thousands, made entirely from fresh, top quality produce that would otherwise have gone to waste.
Join us at the event and pledge to take food waste off the menu in LA!
Hosted by Feedback with support from The Rockefeller Foundation. The meal will be prepared by LA Kitchen using recovered produce sourced by Food Forward, and the event is produced and promoted with the help and collaboration of organizations fighting food waste and hunger across the city including LA Food Policy Council, Food Finders, Kiss the Ground and Waste Not Want Not Now.
Feedback is a non-profit environmental organization that campaigns to end food waste at every level of the food system. Feedback catalyzes action on eliminating food waste globally, working with governments, international institutions, businesses, NGOs, grassroots organizations and the public to change society’s attitude toward wasting food. www.feedbackglobal.org
