On May 5-7, 2015, the U.S. Zero Waste Business Council (www.uszwbc.org) will host its 4th annual national conference, “The Stars of Zero Waste,” in partnership with the City of Los Angeles Bureau of Sanitation.
The City of Los Angeles is undergoing a sustainability transformation. With strong leadership and dedicated City staff, Zero Waste is staking its place as one of the transformation hallmarks- especially for businesses. During our 4th annual conference on Wednesday, May 6th we are honored to have City of Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti deliver the opening conference keynote on these important strides.
USZWBC will also be telling the story of Zero Waste in Los Angeles with the Discover the Zero Waste Stars of LA plenary panel immediately following the Mayor. A diverse set of stakeholders will share their successes and challenges implementing Zero Waste.
