USZWBC has partnered with the U.S. Green Building Council to offer our next training course at GreenBuild 2016. Help your facility or other facilities create value through Zero Waste by this training based on the comprehensive USZWBC Zero Waste Facility Certification program for facilities. This training is intended for those interested in pursuing the professional Zero Waste Business Associate (ZWBA) Certification; however, enrollment is open to anyone interested in learning more about the USZWBC Zero Waste Facility Certification and how to better understand the Scorecard Certification System.
Course Overview
This 6-hour course will provide students with an overview of the USZWBC Zero Waste Facility Scorecard Certification System. The course will outline the history of USZWBC, the definition of Zero Waste, what are considered to be Zero Waste policies and programs, and provide a detailed explanation of the Scorecard Certification System, including sample case studies that demonstrate how to achieve credits for each category within the Scorecard. The Training also will provide educational resources and tools to help businesses get started (or complete) their efforts to pursue Zero Waste.

Registration Fees
Regular ZWBA course fees have been adjusted to meet U.S. Green Building Council’s standard pricing for pre-conference events. Fees include all course materials and application fee (no separate application required).
All registration will be through the GreenBuild website: https://greenbuildexpo.com/Attendee/Register. Please note, on the registration page where it makes you select conference registration, select the last option “expo hall pass” in order to continue onto the next page where you can select our training course. The expo hall pass cost will be subtracted out at the end. At the top it says “ Note: Workshops and summits include an expo pass and the cost will be credited to your account prior to checkout.”
Discounts are available for USZWBC and USGBC Members. USGBC members, please follow the instructions on the registration page to receive your member discounts.
