Via Human Centered Design
Join Social Enterprise Alliance LA and HappyCity LA for the first in a series of Human Centered Design [HCD] workshops focused on the Open Air Community [aka LA’s homeless population] and its mental wellness.
Homelessness is pervasive in LA County, second only to New York City. There is no one size fits all solution to the problem but through facilitating a conversation using HCD, we can make relevant adjustments and designs based on the user experience.
Developed by IDEO & the Stanford Design School, HCD uses a problem solving methodology in which you consider the end user needs at the outset of the design process.
During the course of these HCD workshops, you’ll learn:
- What it means to be a human centered designer
- How to build empathy
- How to think using iterative processes
- Methods and tools such as brainstorming interviews and analogous inspiration
- Rapid Prototyping
- Story telling and storyboarding ideas
- How to dive into hands on design challenges
Come join us for a day of learning and change making!
Can’t join us for the first workshop? Your ticket is good for all three workshops!
