Manifesto Café is a social enterprise market and café located in Hermon, a city in Northeastern Los Angeles that serves healthy delicious products. The “social cafénterprise” serves an original menu of Los Angelino-themed artisan sandwiches & beverages, as well as fair trade coffee, teas, produce, vegan pastries, healthy snacks and pre-packaged meals – all sourced from local, socially-conscious small businesses.
They are also partnered with innovative organizations, such as Gumball Foundation – which fosters creativity and entrepreneurship in youth to earn money for college “hands-on”, as well as post-high school workforce development opportunities for Gumball alumni within our social enterprise at Manifesto while they attend college locally.
At our event, you’ll also be hearing from Ranie Lambe from Opportunity Fund and Erin Power from Kiva Zip. They’ll be talking about business loans that you can get through their programs.
